Home Inspections
Having a home inspection is one of the most important steps when purchasing real estate. A home inspection is a limited, non-invasive examination of the condition of a home. It is conducted by a licensed professional home inspector and can determine if the home is a sound investment.
The inspector prepares and delivers to the client a written report of findings. The client then uses the knowledge gained to make informed decisions about their pending real estate purchase. The home inspector describes the condition of the home at the time of inspection but does not guarantee future condition, efficiency, or life expectancy of systems or components.
A home inspector determines the condition of a structure, identifies possible problems with the home as well as any needed maintenance issues. If any problems in the home are identified, the home inspector may recommend the issue be repaired by a qualified licensed expert or that further evaluation is needed (additional inspection). A professional home inspection is an examination of the current condition of a house. It is not an inspection to verify compliance with appropriate codes.
It is always HIGHLY recommended that a home inspection is conducted as a condition (contingency) of purchasing a home!
If you need a referral for a licensed home inspector that services primarily Pierce County, here are 3 that I have worked with several times and are awesome!
